Our Progress Evenings provide an important opportunity for parents and carers to meet with teachers, discuss their child’s progress and find out how they can best support their learning. A Year 7 Tutor Evening takes place in October, followed by Progress Evenings held once a year for each year group.
In addition, there is a Year 11 Launch Event in September and a Year 9 Options Evening in March.

Our SENCO, Mrs Bearpark, is also available on these evenings to meet with parents (by appointment).
We encourage parents and carers to maintain regular communication with the school and to get in touch whenever they feel they need advice or support. Parents and carers can contact their child’s Head of Year or Pastoral Leader throughout the school year. Our aim is to work in partnership with families to ensure that every student is happy, supported and making positive progress.
Held early in the Autumn Term to give parents and carers of Year 7 students the opportunity to speak with their child’s tutor.
During the evening we will be sharing key information about the programme for year 11 and how you can support and challenge your child as they progress towards their GCSE exams in May 2027.
